ShoeTracker
Rotate before your body complains.
ShoeTracker is an Apple-native app for runners and walkers who take their shoes seriously.
Running shoes last 600–1,000 km. Walking shoes a bit longer. Who keeps track of that?
→ We do. Through Apple Health, automatically, on iPhone and Watch.
Who it’s for
Features
Automatic tracking
Apple Health delivers your workouts. ShoeTracker sums kilometers + hours per shoe without you typing anything.
Smart rotation
The recommendation engine balances three strategies: round-robin (rotate instead of grinding one), workout match (tempo shoe for tempo run), lifespan (use the older shoe up first). You tune the weights — the app does the math.
Watch-First UX
Apple Watch shows today’s shoe suggestion as a complication in the morning. After a run, you confirm with a tap — straight from the notification, no app open required.
Photo library with cutout
Up to 10 photos per shoe. Vision framework cleanly cuts the shoe from the background — your card gallery looks magazine-grade instead of like a camera roll.
Privacy-First
All data in your own iCloud. No backend, no login, no tracking. If iCloud is off: everything stays local, no sync.
Apple-platform depth
- App Intents + Siri Shortcuts (“Hey Siri, which shoes for today?”)
- Widgets in Small, Medium + Lock-Screen
- Watch complications in 3 families
- iPad layout with Side-by-Side + Apple Pencil annotation
- Spotlight indexing for shoe search from the system
